Maria was given the opportunity to begin teaching at her home studio whilst she was still a student after being an assistant teacher for 5 years. She has since had the opportunity to teach at many including being a faculty member at Dance Delaware, Leroux School of Dance, and Janices Danceworks. Maria has also been a guest competitive choreographer and teacher at a number of studios across the east coast. In addition to her work with young dancers she is also a guest teacher at Powerhouse Dance, an adult drop in studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. Maria also currently holds her Youth Protection Association for Dance certification.
Class Description
Maria is currently available for guest teaching and private lessons in Jazz, Technique/Jumps and Turns, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Street Jazz.
These classes will contain a 20-25 minute warmup containing cardio, strengthing and stretching, then will move onto technique/strengthing exercises and then class will finish with a combination in the style of the class.
Maria is also available for guest choreography for group dances, solos, duos and trios in Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary.
