
Maria Grandizio
A little bit about me
Maria is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher from Collingdale, Pennsylvania. She started dancing at the age of 5 and is trained in jazz, lyrical, theater dance, contemporary, ballet, tap, and pointe. Maria began dancing in the competition circuit and was awarded various scholarships, overall high scores and judges awards.
Maria attended the prestigious Center for Performing and Fine (CPFA) where she learned about choreography, dance and performance techniques and dance history. During her years at CPFA, Maria was inducted into the National Honors Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) where she participated in service projects both in her school and in the community. While at CPFA, Maria studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern and pointe and participated in a plethora of performances and showcases.

Maria began her professional career at age 18 playing Natasha in Dead Man’s Party at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. She returned to the show as Casper (2022), Serena (2023), as well as Ryan as a part of the 25th Anniversary cast. She was also the Dance Captain of the show for the past two seasons. Maria has also performed in the Summer Vibes Dance Festival, and Frost at Great Adventure. In addition, Maria has had the opportunity to perform at a number of theme parks across the east coast including Kings Dominion as a dancer in Retrospect, Tinkers Toy Factory (Tumbles) and the Spectacle of Color Parade, Sesame Place Philadelphia and Busch Gardens Tampa in Holiday Magic. In addition to her theme park work she has performed in “Ignites the Stage” with ContempraDANCE Theatre and EXCERPTS and PERSEVERE with Project Moshen Dance Company. She has also appeared in the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade as a member of Powersurge Performing Arts Center. Maria has also had the privilege of performing in Walt Disney World as a dancer in the Festival of Fantasy Parade, the Easter Pre Parade and the FrontierLand Hoedown Happening. Maria is currently available for bookings regarding dance, choreography, and teaching.
